"Baltimore's West Side Story" (excerpts). The Senator showed this 1999 short film before every feature film for 6 weeks. This turned the tide for preservation of historic buildings in the West Side, according to the New York Times. We believe many of the city government's actions toward Tom Kiefaber since that time have been in retaliation for showing this film. He received threatening phone calls when he showed it.
